Weather
The Ionian Sea is famous for its mild winds.
It is considered to be the perfect sea for smooth sailing trips.
Between May and August there are northern winds, whereas in September, October and April there are southern winds and they continue blowing mainly between 14:00 – 19:00 in the afternoon.
During the night there is a complete calm. The usual wind speed is 3 to 4 Beauforts.
However, during the summer period the speed of the wind sometimes reaches 5 to 6 Beauforts.

Sailing Archaeological Trip From Kerkyra
DAY 1
While preparation of the Yacht is taking place by the crew, along with our help you are able to stroll around to see Corfu’s Venetian town. If you don’ t have time for a stroll you can take a dive at the pool which is located into the marina.
At 17:00 o’ clock you will be given a tour guide of the Yacht and its equipment. Arrangement of theYacht’s equipment and personal stuff.
DAY 2

While sailing towards Paxos you will acquire some general information on the different types of sails work.
Before lunch we will wharf at a nearby bay for a swim. This is the right place for collecting seashells and getting suntanned!
In the afternoon we will set sail for Gaios Paxos where we intend to arrive by dinnertime and stay overnight. If you are into traditional Greek specialties we suggest a family -run traditional tavern where you will taste all delicacies and enjoy a traditional Greek dancing group.
DAY 3
Before leaving Gaios Paxos you will be given a tour of the Island. Usually most of our Italian clients prefer to spend more than a week in the Island.
We will be visiting rocky caves with seals and the crystal turquoise waters, which are perfect for swimming and scuba diving. sleepover at a nearby port with calm and crystal blue waters.
DAY 4
In the morning we will set sail for Parga which is located in mainland Epirus. In Parga, where we will arrive in the afternoon, you will have the unique opportunity of enjoying the excitement of windsailing.
We will pay a visit to the city of Parga, most know for it’s beautiful castle and it’s breathtaking view, the traditional villages and houses. the place is also know for it’s beautiful sandy beaches with crystal blue waters.
For those of you who are interested, you may take the local boats and explore the area by sailing through the Herona River.
DAY 5
From there we will visit Agios Ioannis (St. Johns’s) which is located south of Parga.
Once we leave Agios Ioannis we will cruise to a nearby bay, where you will astonished by the drinking water springing from the sea. This is exactly the same spring where from fishermen used to drink ages ago.
Swimming and relaxation will follow at a nearby beach while preparations will take place for the night BBQ at the beach.
DAY 6
The following morning we will set sail for a different atmosphere at Mourto and it’s green Islands Sivota.
Swim at the rocky and emerald green waters. Sivota Islands have shallow waters that will take you from one island to the next. This will be an unforgettable experience.
We will visit their beautiful port and have dinner at the local tavern called “Panorama” where you can taste traditional Greek cuisine by enjoying a magnificent view of numerous small islands and of the sunset.
DAY 7
The trip finally comes to an end by setting sail for the Marina “Gouvia”, our starting point.
Afternoon relaxation or water sports will take place after we have sailed north of Mourto to a wind-protected bay.
Our Trip will continue till we arrive at “Gouvia”
